  1. Yesterday, President Biden signed into law The Inflation Reduction Act that will support change for families, the environment, and the economy; however, Head Start, childcare, and early learning were left out of this package.

Services to Pregnant Women and Expectant Families in Early Head Start, expecting a child is a special time in a family’s life that can impact family well-being and children’s learning, development, and future school success. Pediatric Vaccines and Other COVID-19 Considerations for Program Year 2022-23 Monday, August 29, 2022, @ 2:00 PM ET, Join the Office of Head Start (OHS) staff as they discuss key COVID-19 considerations as programs start the new year. Topics include OHS responses to FAQs and a review of where to find the up-to-date COVID-19 health and safety information.
