  1. FHSA has partnered with Play Motion Music to offer our members Free Music Classes. The first class starts on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, @ 10:00 AM ET. Each week Nick will interact with your students as they jump like a frog, fly like a bird, go riding on a train, read and play music notes with hand percussion instruments and tell musical stories. These free classes run through November 16.

  2. Data Brief on Child Safety in Head Start Programs, OHS holds a strong and uncompromising position regarding children's safety. We are committed to continuous quality improvement to improve Head Start programs' oversight and to supporting our programs in preventing incidents that jeopardize children's safety. This data brief provides information on deficient and noncompliant citations related to child safety that OHS has identified and issued to Head Start grant recipients through monitoring reviews. Addressing Child Incidents Through a Culture of Safety webinar on Thursday, October 13, 2022, @ 2:00 PM ET, Join OHS leadership in exploring patterns of child health and safety incidents across Head Start programs and how to prevent their occurrence. This webinar explains the role of Head Start programs in reporting health and safety incidents, identifies the federal staff to whom programs must report, and lays out the reporting time frame.
