1. Joint Referral Collaboration Regional Meetings. This project is supported by the Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five Initiative (PDG B-5) from the Office of Child Care, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Join other referral agencies in your region during this interactive meeting designed to enhance coordination among referral agencies toward achieving an equitable and comprehensive family-driven system to support screening, referral, tracking, and early intervention services.

  2. Head Start offers a plethora of Mental Health resources to help children and families deal with trauma, substance use, and self-care guidance. Click here to check it out. ECLKC, updated October 8, 2021

  3. October is Bilingual Child Month. One of the largest demographic shifts in the last decade is the increase in the number of children who speak English as their second language. The U.S. Department of Education interviewed Lillian Durán, a professor at the University of Oregon who's work supports DLLs. Check out their interview here as well as resources to support DLLs and their families.

Please visit our COVID-19 Resource page, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.

Sincerely,
