  1. In honor of National Breastfeeding Month, MyPlate has compiled free nutrition resources to share with your expectant mothers and currenfamilies you know who breastfeeds or provides breast milk. National CACFP Sponsors Association

  2. National Preparedness Month starts in September. It's never too early to start preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. ECKLC has some resources to support early childhood programs with their emergency preparedness. 

  3. Celebrate National Read a Book Day on September 6th with The Reading Challenge, which includes brain-building tips that promote reading skills for young children. Here are some tips from ChildCare Aware of America and Vroom.
