  1. FREE: Count the Kicks Webinar for Head Start has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 17, 2022 @ 12:30 PM ET,FHSA and HSSCO have partnered with the Florida Department of Public Health for an interactive and educational webinar on the evidence-based stillbirth prevention campaign. With tips on how to integrate it into your Head Start program. 

  2. The National Center on Health, Behavior Health, and Safety’s Staff Wellness Institute Staff is returning virtually January 10 – 11, 2023.Applications are due October 31, 2022. This training aims to support recipients in creating a culture of wellness, positive morale, and respect for staff through systematic, program-wide approaches to staff wellness.

  3. It’s not too late — file your tax return to get the Child Tax Credit and thousands of dollars of additional tax benefits. Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, the vast majority of families will receive $3,000 per child ages 6-17 years old and $3,600 per child under 6 as a result of the increased 2021 Child Tax Credit.
