  1. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) Secretary Shevaun Harris announced that the second phase of the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) will open on Monday, October 17 for Flagler, Highlands, Manatee, Orange, Pinellas, and St. Johns counties. D-SNAP provides food assistance for individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Ian and who are not receiving food assistance benefits through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP)

Resources & Tools - Voting Resources for Family Child Care Providers, All Our Kin has created a Voter Resource Center to help family childcare educators, parents, and children raise their voices in support of childcare in the upcoming elections.   3. Inclusion Series: Partnering with IDEA Providers to Support Inclusion: Part 1 webinar on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, @ 3:00 PM ET. This webinar will focus on establishing effective partnership agreements between Head Start programs and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) agencies and service providers.
