  1. The Office of Head Start Announces its new Executive Director, Khari Garvin. Garvin served as the executive director of the Head Start program for a large, multi-state grantee serving children and in rural communities across five states. He is a proud alumnus of the National Head Start Fellowships program, where he worked at the Office of Head Start. Garvin previously served as a Head Start grantee program manager in Illinois. He was an assistant Head Start/Early Head Start program director at a North Carolina Head Start program.
