- Dear Colleague on New Federal Opportunities to Bolster the Early Care and Education Workforce, March 1, 2023, from ACF, as referenced in yesterday's Workforce Wednesday Webinar.
- The 2023 Florida Legislative Session will officially convene on Tuesday, March 7. On January 18, the House Pre-K-12 Appropriations Subcommittee met to discuss early care and education in Florida. As you will learn after watching this meeting, we have a lot of work to do to educate what the difference is between Head Start and School Readiness. When Rep. Davis asked, "how does Head Start correlate with this work, " the panel responded, "Head Start is a federal program, and the major difference is they do not have the same worker school requirement as School Readiness."
