  1.  ICYMI: Closeout Activities and Requests for Carryover of Unobligated Balances, Recently, OHS sent notifications to select recipients notifying them of the requirement to submit a carryover application if a need exists to use unobligated funds from a closed budget period with an active project. An annual SF-425 Federal Financial Report must be submitted for the budget period the funds are unobligated. The SF-425 should show an unobligated balance that matches or exceeds the carryover request. 

  2. School Readiness and African American Boys: The Journey - Part 1 Tuesday, February 07, 2023, @ 3:00 PM ET, Join the National Center on Early Childhood Development, Teaching and Learning for the first webinar of a three-part series highlighting strategies programs and education staff can use to Supporting the School Readiness and Success of Young African American Boys project and the Head Start approach to meeting the unique needs of these children and their families.

  3. Registration for Storybook Village is now open. This interactive in-person walk-through event, where children's stories are brought to life, will take place Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Florida's Capitol during Children's Week Florida!
