  1. Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! Head Start and Early Head Start programs promote language and literacy goals for all children. Check out this book list the Department of Education provided to help raise awareness and make reading part of your kiddo's daily routine.

  2. ICYMI; The Discovery Source Head Start Social-Emotional Webinar aired on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 @ 2:30 PM EST., this webinar was designed to connect important social-emotional skills with effective strategies and how to use our different materials with creative ideas and strategies for your daily practices.

  3. Check out this new RSV resource from the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS). this information provides tips on how to tell if a cold is more than just a cold as it's our priority to keep an eye out for RSV cases and have a firm grasp of the virus so we can warn families about RSV and its potential effects on children.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.

Sincerely,
