  1. ICYMI: Letter from Deputy Director Office of Head Start, Tala Q. Hooban email on December 6, 2022, Providing High-quality Services in Safe and Healthy Settings

  2. In late October, the Office of Head Start published an Information Memorandum which outlines the monitoring process for FY23, including CLASS video pilots to be conducted. In response to concerns from the Head Start community, NHSA sent this letter urging OHS to allow grant recipients to opt out of the video CLASS pilot knowing how understaffed programs are. How to Increase Engagement and Get Your Kids Kindergarten Ready with Novel and Collaborative Technology Thursday, December 08, 2022 @ 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM EST, we know kids can achieve fantastic literacy outcomes when they and their teachers are motivated and excited about learning! In this webinar, Dr. Ogletree will discuss her research findings on how Letters alive, a novel and collaborative technology, delivers positive outcomes, increases engagement, and improves behavior. This webinar's target audience is Pre-K Directors, Pre-K Owners, Pre-K Principals, Pre-K Asst Principals, Pre-K Teachers, and Learning Center Faculty.
