Here's what you need to know

  1. FHSA is excited to announce thatSponsor and Exhibitor opportunities are now open for the 2026 Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando. Explore dynamic packages designed to elevate your brand and strengthen your connection with Head Start leaders statewide. Your sponsorship directly helps FHSA keep registration costs low for Head Start and Early Head Start programs and supports our ability to deliver high‑quality training experiences for attendees.Check out our 2026/2027 Partners Prospectus.

  2. Want clearer guidance on submitting an FHSA Awards nomination?  Join the FHSA Awards Committee on May 6 for a focused Lunch & Learn designed to give you the insights, examples, and tips you need to elevate your nomination. Submit your questions ahead of time in the Questions & Comments field. Find award categories and deadlineshere.

  3. Head Start Tip of the Week! As we approach the end of the program year, now is the time to run test PIR reports to ensure your data is accurate and pulling correctly. Double‑check key items like PIR C.44 (family services) to confirm all supports—housing, mental health, parenting curriculum, and more—are fully captured. If numbers look off, update data entry and monitoring processes now so your final PIR reflects the true scope of your work. The 2025–2026 PIR Advanced Copy and Change Highlights are available on HeadStart.gov. This year’s PIR is due August 31, 2026, unless your program receives a different deadline.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.

Sincerely,
