Everyone who works or volunteers in a Head Start program is a mandated reporter who is required by law to report known or suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to their local child protective services agency. The Office of Head Start is partnering with the Penn State Center for the Protection of Children to offer iLookOut for Child Abuse (iLookOut), a research-based mandated reporter professional development course on the Individualized Professional Development Portfolio (iPD). This webinar will share key components of the iLookOut training and prepare you to successfully complete the training on the iPD. ILookOut is an important resource to help the Head Start community understand their role and responsibilities in protecting vulnerable children and supporting at-risk families.

This webinar will be offered in English with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish.
