NHSA has a partnership with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation that allows them to work with Head Start programs across the country to teach children, families, and communities how to grow their own fresh produce—for life. We have joined forces to address this critical issue facing young children.

Involving family members in your Head Start garden is always a win for everyone involved, but even more important now as schools and centers are closed across the country.

This webinar will share easy garden activity ideas you can recommend to families to keep them gardening at home during these challenging times. With a focus on projects that can be completed with minimal supplies in limited spaces, we will hope to show how gardening can be accessible for all. You will also learn from our grantee spotlight the Candeska Cikana Community College Head Start in Fort Totten, North Dakota!
