You are invited to join the Office of Child Care’s (OCC) national webinar to announce an intensive technical assistance (TA) opportunity to support the implementation of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act comprehensive child care background check requirements. State and territory Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) lead agencies continue to have challenges in implementing certain aspects of comprehensive child care background checks; in-state partnerships, in-state background check processes, and interstate background check processes are the primary areas of concern.

This webinar will provide an overview of the goals of, strategies for, and approaches to comprehensive child care background checks as well as the commitment required from state and territory CCDF lead agencies that want to participate in this TA opportunity. OCC and the National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability will host the webinar on Friday, November 6, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
