The Planned Language Approach (PLA) is a comprehensive, systemic, and research-based way for Head Start and Early Head Start programs to ensure optimal language and literacy services for children who speak English, and for children who are dual language learners (DLLs). Effective practices that support children's language and communication development make up the Big 5 For ALL section of the PLA. It includes the key elements of early language and literacy development children need to succeed in school.

Join this webinar to explore how coaches can support education staff as they use the Big 5 for ALL language and literacy strategies in their work with children ages birth to 5 and their families. Learn about effective practices education staff can use to support children's language and communication development.
