The Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FLAEYC) is thrilled to be hosting the 2018 Annual Conference at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. This year, there will be even more opportunities for personal and professional growth for you, with the addition of two full day, pre-conference events.

Through our commitment to FLAEYC members and Florida’s early childhood educators, this year’s conference will provide training and networking opportunities for everyone, with a focus on Best Practices in Early Learning for Florida’s Children. This year’s conference includes:

• Wednesday, September 5 - NAEYC Accreditation of Early Learning Programs Institute (full day, pre-conference professional development event)
• Thursday, September 6 - Leadership Summit: Compassion to Action with Dr. Walter Gilliam (full day, pre-conference professional development event)
• Friday, September 7 - Opening keynote by D.J. Vanas of Native Discovery, the opening of the Exhibit Hall, followed by three breakout sessions, the FLAEYC Awards Reception and the Time of Our Life celebration, honoring you and the work you do for the early care and education field
• Saturday, September 8 - The Exhibit Hall will be open, FLAEYC will host its Annual Meeting with complimentary breakfast for FLAEYC Members, three additional breakout sessions, and a closing plenary session with Music with Mar for everyone
• Sunday, September 9 - Complimentary breakfast open to all attendees with the FLAEYC Executive Board followed by one final keynote with Ron Mohl of Lakeshore Learning
