Early childhood inclusion benefits all. Children with and without disabilities, families, and communities thrive in a culture of inclusiveness and belonging. The research supports this fact and has even shown that inclusion is a critical indicator of program quality. Please join the National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance to learn about inclusion research, laws, policies, and practices as well as the disparities that exist in access to inclusive settings based on race and category of disability. This context will be brought to life through the story of how Illinois and other states are working to foster inclusion through licensing standards, quality initiatives, and other innovative state and community strategies.

Featured Speaker

  • Jani Kozlowski, M.A., Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center

The webinar will benefit state, territory, and Tribal Child Care and Development Fund program administrators; quality initiative leads; child care licensing leads; American Academy of Pediatrics Early Childhood Chapter Champions; Tribal leaders; and other stakeholders focused on providing quality early childhood experiences for children with disabilities.
