Join the Region IV Head Start T/TA Network for this 2.5-day event designed to build upon The Classroom Wellbeing Institute May 2022. OHS National Centers and thought leaders across the nation will equip staff with the essential tools needed for developing a comprehensive approach to a culture of safety and mental wellness for staff and children. 

This event will include safety techniques (active supervision, redundant safety systems), that help programs ensure staff is supported to provide supervisions and appropriate interactions with children to reduce incidents such as child being left unattended, child injury, or child maltreatment. Strategies for recognizing signs of trauma and atypical behavior will be included with approaches to building a resiliency plan for staff and children. Strategies will be introduced to enhance positive behavior management and classroom structures that participants can use to turn everyday situations into learning opportunities.
