Region IV is excited to offer the Positive Guidance & Behaviors that Challenge Us- Conscious Discipline training track as part of our Classroom Well-Being Institute!
This track will be a great follow-up to Elizabeth Montero-Cefalo, Conscious Discipline Master Instructor keynote speaker’s opening session presentation.

The Positive Guidance & Behaviors that Challenge Us- Conscious Discipling track will feature Lety Valero, Bilingual Conscious Discipline Master Instructor with support from your Region IV TTA Specialists.

This FREE track will introduce Conscious Discipline to enhance positive behavior management strategies and classroom structures that participants can use to turn everyday situations into learning opportunities. Participants will learn and experience the transformation skills, powers, and structures of Conscious Discipline in an interactive, brain smart environment; build problem-solving with Social-Emotional Learning; create a culture of compassion; shift perceptions to teach new skills; learn how internal emotional states dictate our behavior; and blend the core principles of Conscious Discipline with practical, age-specific implementation strategies to support Head Start Forward.
It is expected that if an individual registers for this track, they will participate in the entire track. The timing of this track has been designed to give participants the opportunity to fully participate in opening and closing sessions.
