This webinar gives a brief introduction to trauma-informed care and its benefits in early childhood programs. It highlights the Ready to Learn Through Relationships Toolkit (RLR-Toolkit), an evidence-based, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed program for early childhood educators. This toolkit offers educators easy-to-use strategies in four modules: Creating a Safe Environment; Provider Self-care; Building Relationships and Connectedness; and Supporting and Teaching Emotion Regulation. This webinar also describes a training and technical assistance (TTA) opportunity for Head Start recipients during the upcoming program year.
