Staff and families in early childhood settings are affected by exposure to pollutants and other hazards in their environment. Children and families with chronic health conditions and those with fewer resources bear the greatest burden from the effects of environmental hazards like poor air quality, extreme heat, and flooding. Child care health consultants can help early childhood programs develop practices to keep children safe. This webinar offers information about major environmental health issues along with best practices in keeping settings safe and free from environmental health hazards.
