Register Now!

The Office of Child Care’s (OCC) National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA) is excited to continue hosting the National Program Integrity Webinar Series in fiscal year (FY) 2020. These national webinars highlight Lead Agency strategies that support the use of internal controls and fraud prevention efforts in their child care programs. The benefits of program integrity and fraud prevention strategies continue to be of national interest, and as stewards of public funds, we have a responsibility to increase our programs’ accountability measures.

Our third webinar of the FY 2020 series, Front-End Detection and Investigation Strategies, is based on feedback from previous webinar attendees and the need for continued discussion around fraud-fighting strategies. During the webinar, we will walk through the federal requirements, strategies, and benefits of fraud-related front-end detection and investigations to promote program integrity and accountability within the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. In addition, information on the latest section added to the CCDF Fraud Toolkit will be provided.

Webinar Subtopics

  • State presentation of strategies related to fraud investigations, including examples of altered documents
  • Error Rate Reporting or improper payments—The impact that front-end detection and fraud investigations have on Error Rate Reporting
  • Demo of the Enforcement and Recovery Assessment section within the CCDF Fraud Toolkit
  • Information on where to find program integrity resources

Who Should Participate

CCDF administrators, program integrity staff members, fraud investigators, quality assurance staff members, supervisors, trainers, policy analysts, and those involved with error rate review and planning processes are all encouraged to participate and engage in the discussion.

Save the Date!

The next webinar in this series is tentatively planned for September 1.
