FHSA Virtual Conference & Expo FAQ

What is the FHSA Virtual Conference?

The FHSA Virtual Conference & Expo is a fully virtual experience occurring online March 3-5, 2021. Concurrent educational sessions will be 90 minutes in length for the 3-day period and include an online social function with networking opportunities and an expo hall filled with lots of fun, games, and prizes.

How many breakout sessions/educational opportunities will there be?

30 total. During each time slot for breakout sessions, there will be 5 sessions to chose from where you can participate in real-time. Speakers will be available for Q&A during the scheduled live time. ALL sessions will be recorded so if you can't decide between sessions for a designated timeslot, then you can watch the recorded version and view the chat online anytime within one month.

Will sessions be recorded to access later?

Yes, for a limited time. If you’re registered and have to miss any sessions, you will have additional time to watch anything that you missed. You will only be able to access the recordings if you are registered.

Will the virtual event earn CEU Credit?

While we are not a certified CEU provider, attendees will be provided a certificate of attendance.

What are the networking opportunities during the FHSA Virtual Conference & Expo?

We know our members highly value the peer-to-peer interaction that our conference provides so we'll have plenty of opportunities to connect during the FHSA Virtual Conference! Throughout the virtual event, you will have time to network with your colleagues and product/service providers. On Thursday, March 4, 2021, we will host several Networking Round Tables with themed topics so you can discuss best practices, challenges, and great ideas with your Head Start peers and colleagues.

How do I know if I am an FHSA Member?

Each staff member, parent, Policy Council, and Board Member of a Grantee Agency which has paid the agency's 2021 Membership Dues is considered a member of FHSA. FHSA members are encouraged to log-in to register for the member rate to display. If you are a lapsed member, your dues must be paid before you can access the member rates. Uncertain how to log-in, please contact FHSA (850) 694-6477 or via email [email protected].

May we register more than one person at a time?
