Our opening session is sure to motivate you to expand your circle of personal and professional supports to ensure quality services to Head Start and Early Head Start children and families! Brocklin Qualls understands that in order to do better, you must Think, Act, and Perform Differently in your work. He will engage the attendees in an interactive process of reshaping how you think about quality services and help you to create a new perspective that encourages collaboration, communication, and consistency to strength daily practices.

Brocklin will expertly help you to include different voices in 2020 to support communities and extended networks in establishing inclusive environments for all! At the end of the session, you will have established a renewed commitment to bridging the gaps in communication that can sometimes hinder progress.

Bio: 

Brocklin Qualls is the Principal Consultant for The BQ Definitive.  Brocklin has worn many hats and has been in the service of a multitude of leadership roles within Head Start.  He has served as a motivational/ keynote speaker for local, regional, state, and national conferences to include the Region IV Head Start Conference and Frogstreet Splash Conference. Before working for Head Start, Brocklin taught kindergarten, first and third grades.  He was selected as a fellow for the Johnson and Johnson Head Start/University of California Los Angeles Management Fellowship Program and the Nike/ NHSA Starting Block Emerging Leadership Program.   In addition, he was selected by Leapfrog Schoolhouse to direct one of its Head Start partnership projects. Brocklin is a Lakeshore Professional Development  Consultant and a certified Teachstone CLASS PreK Observer. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master of Arts Degree in Education (Instruction and Curriculum – Early Childhood).
