A Planned Language Approach (PLA) is a comprehensive, systemic, research-based way for Head Start and Early Head Start programs to ensure optimal language and literacy services for children who speak English and for those who are dual language learners (DLLs). A PLA supports a coordinated approach to ensure the full and active participation of children who are DLLs and their families.

Join this webinar to learn how to use selected resources in the Specific Strategies to Support Dual Language Learners (DLLs) When Adults Do Not Speak Their Language section of the PLA to support children who are DLLs and their families.
