The Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020, includes $250 million in quality improvement funding for Head Start programs. Quality activities must align with Sec. 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act. Congress strongly encourages this funding be used to invest in activities that will support Head Start children and families impacted by trauma.

Join our webinar for an overview of this funding opportunity, including allowable uses of these funds. Learn more about the impact of traumatic experiences on children, families, and early childhood program staff. We will discuss ways Head Start grantees could incorporate trauma-informed approaches into their programs.
