FHSA SSCBT Training Class- CANCELED

The FHSA and the Florida Head Start Collaboration Office are hosting its 2026 cohort for its Family Service Credential, SSCBT (Social Services Competency-Based Training Program) on January 26 - 30, 2026 offering Modules I-II. Module III will occur April 08-10, 2026.  All registrants will need to commit to the full training and commit to a Zoom pre-meeting. 

The Tennessee State University Social Services Competency-Based Training Program aligns with the Head Start and Early Head Start relationship-based competencies for Staff and Supervisors who work with families and addresses the core skills necessary for working in a variety of family support and community services settings. This program is designed for individuals who provide direct support to families (i.e., Family Service Workers, Case Managers, Home Visitors, Health Service Workers, etc.) Click here to download flyer.

Target Audience:

  • Family Service Workers
  • Case Managers
  • Home Visitors
  • Teachers
  • Health Services Staff
  • Community Workers

Upon successful completion, participants will receive an industry-recognized Social Services certification from Tennessee State University.

Class size is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.

  • FHSA member registration $1,100
  • Non-FHSA member registration $1,800

  • January 26- 30, 2026

Module III 

  • April 08 - 10, 2026

The session begins at 9:00 a.m. and continues until 4:00 p.m. each day. All breaks, meals, and lodging are on your own

You must participate in all Modules to receive the certification.
